Band in a Box main screen
I suppose that before we get started it might be nice to have a chord chart to go by for entering in the chords to
this song so here it is.
(C) TONIGHT DOWN (F) HERE IN THE (C) VALLEY,
I'M LONESOME AND (F) OH HOW I (C) FEEL,
AS I SIT HERE A- (C7) LONE IN MY (F) CABIN,
I CAN (C) SEE YOUR (G) MANSION ON THE (C) HILL.
Again, don't worry about things like, "Well, I would have used a 7th chord there or some other chord here". I'll
explain how to change things as we go along. If you don't like it in the key of "C", or the tempo is to fast or slow,
it can all be changed without re entering everything from the begining. Ok, lets get started entering the chords.
First click on the empty space to the right of the number 2, which is the start of the second measure. The white box
will move to the position shown. Since we are in 4/4 time, each measure has 4 beats in it and the white box represents 2
of the beats or 1/2 of the measure. This is where I want to place the next chord which is "F". Press the "F" key on the
keyboard and if you look up in the right portion of the screen you will see that a "f" has been entered in the yellow
rectanguler box next to the Microphone icon. It makes no difference wether you have a capitol letter or a small case
letter as you will see in the next screen. Now press your "Enter" key and lets go to the next screen.
