Sound card connection

This shows the connections to my sound card. The White plug goes to my powered speakers. The plug right next to it goes directly to my mixer input. This happens to be the sound card's "SPEAKER OUTPUT". This particular card has 2 speaker outputs. One is for powered speakers while the other will also work for speakers, I find that it will work just as well as a "LINE OUTPUT". The plug all by itself is the sound card's "LINE INPUT" and goes to the "Y" connector on the amplifier's "PRE AMP OUTPUT". These are the connections for my sound card and yours may very.
